Caroline Bay is in the heart of town. The beach has been revitalised with a fantastic board walk. The Trevor Griffith Rose Garden is a national treasure and well worth a visit. There are innumerable sites for children to play, with well kept playgrounds, plenty of space to run around, an extensive beach for swimming and building sand castles, a skate park for teenagers. There is something for everyone and definitely worth a visit. Over the Christmas holidays the Caroline Bay Carnival is buzzing with excitement and free concerts every day.
